Ani DiFranco Concert Live at Red Butte Garden | Salt Lake City – August 09th, 2026
Red Butte Garden is a hidden gem nestled just outside Salt Lake City, offering a stunning natural backdrop for unforgettable outdoor concerts. It’s not just a pretty place; the garden’s 'Historical Garden' takes visitors back in time with its preserved gardening techniques, giving you a sense of how people have nurtured plants through the ages. One of my favorites is the Seagrass Meadow Garden, where you can glimpse underwater plants swaying gently in the breeze, which sounds weird but is oddly calming. The garden’s roots run deep, its first big botanical sale in 1986 still draws crowds eager for unique plants and local crafts. During an Ani DiFranco Salt Lake City show at Red Butte, the vibe is nothing short of magical, imagine sitting on lush lawns surrounded by wildflowers and meadow grasses, sipping artisanal cheeses while listening to soulful music under the stars. The VIP section is a nice touch too, all fancy and cozy but still relaxed. If you’re coming from the University of Utah, just follow the Parkway Trail south or head down the drive from campus, easy enough, and honestly, it’s worth the trip for a night of great music and even better scenery.
